1. Definitions
(i) Personal data
Personal data refers to any information relating to an identified or identifiable person (e.g) name, herd number, location data
(ii) Data subject
Data subject is any identified or identifiable person, whose personal data is processed by the controller responsible for the processing.
(iii) Processing
Processing is any operations performed on personal data (e.g) collection, recording, organisation, structuring, storage, adaption, alteration, disclosure, destruction and erasure.
(iv) Profiling
Profiling is any form of automated processing of personal data that uses personal data to evaluate certain personal aspects relating to a person, in particular, to analyse or predict aspects concerning the person’s performance at work, economic situation, health, personal preferences, interests, location or movements.
(v) Controller or controller responsible for the processing
Controller or controller responsible for the processing is the natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body which alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data; where the purposes and means of such processing are determined by Union or Member State law, the controller or the specific criteria for its nomination may be provided for by Union or Member State law.
(vi) Processor
Processor is a natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body which processes personal data on behalf of the controller.
(vii) Recipient
Recipient is a natural or legal person, public authority, agency or another body, to which the personal data are disclosed, whether a third party or not. However, public authorities which may receive personal data in the framework of a particular inquiry, in accordance with Union or Member State law shall not be regarded as recipients; the processing of those data by those public authorities shall follow the applicable data protection rules according to the purposes of the processing.
(viii) Third party
Third party is a natural or legal person, public authority, agency or body other than the data subject, controller, processor and persons who, under the direct authority of the controller or processor, are authorised to process personal data.
(ix) Consent
Consent of the data subject is any freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous indication of the data subject’s wishes by which he or she, by a statement or by a clear affirmative action, signifies agreement to the processing of personal data relating to him or her.

3. Collection of general data and information
Purpose for collection of personal data
Website Browsing
Information collected on this website is given on a voluntary basis by our customers to facilitate an information request or the organisation of a farmyard collection. The personal information collected includes the customer’s name, herd number and contact number. The information collected is used to update customers’ accounts. In the case of farmyard collections the customers details are sent to the appropriate contractor for their region. Information inputted by customers on the website is received by email which is deleted every 30 days. IFFPG does not use cookies.
Telephone Calls
IFFPG does not collect Calling Landline Identification or any other information on the origins of a call. We do not record or retain phone conversations.
Farm Plastic Bring Centres
When a customer disposes of their plastic at a bring centre or through farmyard collection their name, herd number, address, contact number are recorded. This information is stored to allow IFFPG to contact the customer via text prior to their local bring centre.
4. Withdrawal of consent
A data subject may withdraw consent to the storage and/or processing of their personal data at any time.
To have personal data erased /unsubscribe from our text service data subjects can call or email IFFPG (see section 11 for contact details).
5. Storage/Retention/Disposal of personal data
IFFPG will process and store the personal data of the data subject for as long as our service is required by the data subject. When/if the service is no longer required the data subject can contact IFFPG to be removed from the system (see section 11 for contact details).If the data subject has not availed of IFFPGs service for over 7 years their personal data will be removed from IFFPG’s database.
6. Rights of the data subject
Data subjects have the following rights:
(i) Right to request information and access to personal data.
Upon request from the data subject IFFPG will provide the following:
1. The purposes of the processing
2. The categories of personal data concerned
3. The recipients to whom personal data has been or will be disclosed to.
4. The security measures put in place to protect personal data.

(ii) Right to rectification.
Upon request from the data subject IFFPG will promptly rectify inaccurate personal data.
(iii) Right to erasure.
IFFPG will erase personal data under the following circumstances:
1. The personal data is no longer required
2. The data subject objects to processing
3. The personal data has been unlawfully processed
4. The personal data must be erased to comply with a legal obligation
(iv) Right to data portability
IFFPG will provide a data subject’s personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format upon request by the data subject. IFFPG will also have data transmitted to another data controller upon request (see section 11 for contact details).
(v) Right to object
A data subject can object to the processing and data portability. Upon request from the data subject IFFPG will immediately cease processing the personal data (See section 13 for contact details).
7. Legal basis for the processing
Article 6 (1)e (insert link) GDPR serves as the legal basis for processing operations we carry out as it is within public interest.
8. Processing of personal data
IFFPG employs seven waste collectors who run the plastic collection bring centres and carry out farmyard collections in designated areas. IFFPG only shares personal data when required to fulfil our services. Personal data is transferred to the relevant contractor in the instances of the organisation of a farm yard collection or to resolve a complaint. IFFPG will only share personal data with another third party in the instance of a successor compliance scheme. In this instance data subjects would be contacted via text and a notice will be placed on the website.
IFFPG does not carry out auto mated processing or profiling.
9. Complaints
A complaint can be made to IFFPG through mail or email (see section 11 for contact details). IFFPG will respond to all complaints within two working weeks.
10. Changes to this privacy policy
Changes made to IFFPGs privacy policy will be stated on the website.
